Position : Plant Manager
Job Description : For over 50 years, Lacks Enterprises has been a world leader in the automotive decorative trim business. With over 20 facilities and 2000 employees in West Michigan, our team continues to grow! We are seeking to add a Plant Manager to our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for plant achievement of established business unit goals and objectives
Plans, organizes, and directs operations to optimize day to day operational productivity, plant metrix and performance targets
Manages the overall operations of a 3 shift facility
Provides direction and coordination of activities for Manufacturing Supervisors an other support teams
Develops, controls, and manages plant budgets and costs
Reviews plant performance, problems, and concerns with management team
Lead and commit to plant safety procedures
Staff development through identifying training needs, leading, and coaching
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of P&L statements
Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
Ability to influence others and build confidence with cross functional teams
Ability to develop effective relationships with other Lacks facilities and departments
Automotive experience preferred
