Job Description : Seeking production workers to help us make the best bacon in the industry. The time flies; job duties vary and are rotated throughout the shift; the work environment is steady and fast-paced.On-the-job training provided; related experience is not necessary.JOB DETAILS:Perform a variety of tasks that require product handling, machinery and equipment; packaging and shipping bacon.Physically demanding work that can require the use of some or all body parts and muscle groupsGood hand-eye coordination and upper extremity motor skills are essential for most job tasksUnderstand and follow food safety guidelinesAdditional essential functions may be applicable to specific jobsPAY RATE:Starting pay $18.00 + Shift Differential if working on PM ShiftOvertime pay available after 40 hoursBENEFITS:Insurance including medical, vision, dental, prescription drugs and life insurance – first day of month following date of hire.401K retirement program – 6% match6 paid sick days per yearVacationAfter 1st year: 5 days or 40 hoursAfter 2nd year: 10 days or 80 hoursAfter 10th year: 15 days or 120 hoursHolidays – 8 paid holidays upon date of hireReferral BonusPerfect Attendance BonusOn-the-Job training with advancement opportunities**ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS: Stand for long periods of time, twist, bend, and frequently lifting up to 40 lbs. with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs., able to perform manual labor.AM Shift is 5:50 am- 2:30 pm Monday- FridayPM Shift is 2:50pm – 11:30pm Monday – Fridaywith an average of 2 MANDATORY Saturdays per month during our busy seasons.
