With our wealth of knowledge and ethics honed on Japanese hyper-selective customer service expectations, we take great care of all of our customers, regardless of where their shipping needs are.Job description: Retrieve and open packages without damaging contentsReview contents and enter various data to a computer systemPick or shelve packagesPack and prepare packages for shippingExchange emails and phone calls with customersVarious data entry tasksAbout the work location:Warehouse work, wear comfortable shoes and clothingNE Portland, close to airport, freeways and less than a block from MAX lineRequirements: Be able to work free from distractions, focusing on the work and staying attentive to increase accuracy.Accuracy is more important than speed, so ability and cooperation to double check your work for possible errors is a must.Be a team player, working well with others in various roles to complete the work as necessary each day.Be on time and actually come to work. Customers and co-workers are relying on you to show up (on time) for you shift, as scheduled.Willingness to improve yourself and learn new roles and other things. Improvement in how you perform on the job leads to improvement in how you are compensated.Ability to regularly speak and read English and use logic to complete written and verbal instructions.Be able to regularly move objects weighing up to 40 lbs and use common sense to get assistance for heavier or bulkier objects.H.S. graduate or GED preferred. At least 18 years of age.(Experience and phone skills are a plus.
