The Headlines:
In the role of Elevator Specialist working in Power, MT you will be part of the Brewing Materials, and Malting Team. You will be responsible for assisting the Elevator Supervisor with the receiving, shipping, cleaning and quality control of the malt and seed barley. You will be required to work safely in adverse conditions and environment, such as confined space, elevated workstations, and temperature extremes.

This position reports to Elevator Supervisor and works closely with our Brewing Materials and Malting team, as well as our corporate supply chain group.

The Responsibilities:

Assist with logistics, handling and distribution of seed to Molson Coors customers
Assist the supervisor with maintenance of rolling stock, elevator machinery, and buildings
Share in the responsibilities of maintaining specific housekeeping specifications on MCBC buildings and grounds
Maintain accurate elevator records, inventories, and other documentation with use of computer and office software
Assumes all supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Elevator Supervisor
The Other Qualifications:

You have a High School degree (required)
3+ years of experience in grain elevator operations preferred
You have the ability to lift 50 lbs, are able to work in adverse weather conditions, and can function in a dusty work environment
Work hours are usually days, but may vary, especially during barley harvest. Long hours, including evenings and weekends are expected
Must have, or be willing to obtain, Pesticide License (required for seed treatment)
Mechanically inclined with the ability to identify and solve problems quickly
You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
