Our philosophy is developed on a solid foundation of continuous quality improvement, a commitment to staff training and development, and a strong financial platform.Job SummaryThe Administrator will oversee the overall management and the day to day operations while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, by hiring, training and supervising qualified staff while ensuring quality of care and establishing a working relationship with regulatory agencies, family members and community advocates.Responsibilities and DutiesOperates the community in a manner which will ensure company profitability by meeting all community budget and census guidelines as setParticipation in weekly meetings, must be prepared to discuss in detail AR issues, budget, census, including wait list, prospective residents and rent rate for the future residents in questionCompletes and monitors all marketing activities to achieve a 100% occupied community with a resident waiting listContacts any potential new residents within 24 hours of referralSchedule and complete tours, keeping in contact with any referral sources progressing towards admissionsComplete all monthly billing requirements (CMH, waiver, model payments)Maintain per regulation resident fundsFollow up on any account receivable concernsCreates and maintains a weekly staffing schedule within the set guidelines to meet the needs of the residentsActively manages and leads the community team including ongoing recruiting, interviewing and retention of staffStaff reviews, discipline and documentation of terminationsOrders food and supplies appropriatelyComplete all assigned duties that may change from time-to-time according to resident needs, staffing levels and working circumstancesDevelops a thorough working knowledge of state regulations and ensures all resident and employee files are well maintained and in compliance with regulationsEnsure all records for residents and employees are confidential and accurateReview all incident reports, ensure they are complete, and if needed corrective actions are in place in a timely mannerMaintain assessments for level of care notifying the VPCC (in Eldermark) when there is a change in a resident’s conditionMaintain employee files to state regulations, including hiring, medical forms, and trainingRoutinely monitors the sanitation of the kitchen, quality of meals, cleanliness of resident apartment and satisfaction of residentsCreates weekly menu, based on state nutritional guidelinesMonitors and oversees the healthcare and related services for the resident, medication orders, daily resident services, documentation using Eldermark ensure they are complete and accurateFollow up on any changes in condition, hospitalizations and discharge plan during hospitalizationsEncourage resident interaction and promote a culture where each resident is of the greatest importance, respond promptly to resident and family needs and concerns. Cultivate and maintain guardian relationshipsQualifications and SkillsMinimum of high school diploma.
