As a new employer to the Hazel Park area, the manufacturing facility is state of the art.POSITION:Production Team Member. This is a direct hire, full-time position.EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not requiredEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Industrial experience of at least three years preferred, but not requiredBASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:Will operate and maintain equipment, move material, maintain housekeeping, and safety standardsMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Operates all manufacturing line positions as required2. Off load deliveries of product and other raw materials3. Inspect final assembly products, other parts and finished assemblies according to inspection standards and frequencies prescribed4. Operate material handling, sequencing, and finished assembly loading systems5. Complete all working documentation, records, reports, etc. as required6. Perform trouble shooting, problem solving and countermeasure activities as necessary7. Keep the work environment safe and clean at all times8. Other Duties as assigned and a willingness tADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:1. Ability to speak, read, and write English required2. Basic math skills required3. Verbal and written communication skills required4. Ability to stand, walk, squat, stoop for 8-12 hour shifts5. Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted6. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled area (where applicable).7. Rapid, repetitive machine paced activities8. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on a consistent basis9. Ability to follow written work instructions10. Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization and with the customer11. Ability to work all shifts and overtime as needed12.
