Job Description : Since 2010, NPCA has organized more than 90 wildlife friendly fence projects – including over 1000 volunteers – that have led to the removal or alteration of nearly 50 miles of fence barriers in key pronghorn habitat north and west of Yellowstone National Park. The Volgenau Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem Fellow will lead the continuation of these efforts.The Volgenau Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem Fellow will primarily focus on implementation of NPCA’s Yellowstone Pronghorn Antelope Connectivity Campaign; outreach and engagement to raise awareness of threats facing parks and park resources in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) including wildlife migration beyond park boundaries; and develop and implement strategies to build future park advocates and cultivate regional park champions.
