Special selection procedures exist for this position.REPRESENTATIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK: Copies and sorts materials, stuffs envelopes, prepares mailings for general, primary, school, and special elections. Prepares and processes absentee and mail ballots. Delivers supplies, performs errands, and assists with physical duties to move and set up elections equipment. Performs related work as required or directed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires HS graduation or GED. Requires experience performing physical labor and basic clerical tasks. Elections Administrator will determine if a prospective employee’s qualifications are acceptable.PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: The work may require climbing ladders and intermittent strenuous physical activity over several days’ time, including bending, carrying, and lifting heavy (up to 65 pounds) boxes.
