Job Summary
Oakland County Circuit Court seeks a full-time Judicial Court Clerk for the Honorable Kameshia D. Gant with prior legal experience, preferably in family law. Duties will include ensuring efficient operation of the courtroom, maintaining the court docket, facilitating zoom proceedings, and interacting daily with attorneys, litigants, and the public. The position requires no legal research, but professional writing skills to facilitate written communication are a requirement. Most importantly, it offers invaluable experience.
Minimum Qualifications
You must have full-time availability, be willing to commit to a minimum of TWO full years of employment, exhibit a professional demeanor, and be attentive to detail. Para-legal, legal assistants, and administrative court employees are encouraged to apply. In-person availability is required, although remote work may be available occasionally.
