Job Description : Coordinate purchasing department activities such as updating purchase order records, track shipments, schedule purchase orders for accounts payable, update reports and trackers, and assist with other supply chain related procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:Track orders to ensure timely deliveryUpdate inventory management system with order detailsCommunicate with suppliers and facilities to confirm due dates and lumber order adjustmentsMain contact for facilities to ensure received quantities and quality match purchasing expectationsVerifying purchase order prices, terms, freight, and other chargesScheduling invoices for accounts payableGenerate inventory reports for buyersAssist with reporting department metricsMinimum Job Requirements:Bachelors degree in a related business major or minimum of three years of equivalent purchasing experienceAbility to navigate inventory software and MS ExcelJob Type: Full-timePay: From $1.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Supply chain: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
