Spathe Systems is seeking a Technical Trainer in support of an Enterprise IT Service Management opportunity in the National Capitol Region supporting the United States Government.

Job Description:

SPATHE is looking for a qualified individual to support an Enterprise IT Service Management opportunity in the National Capitol Region supporting the United States Government. The Technical Trainer must possess the aptitude, knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ability necessary to perform the following tasks:

Develops, oversees, and presents complex training programs for customers and in-house employees
Defines and identifies program needs with business units
Obtains technical data and schedules programs
Conducts training programs on all topics and designs and develops training program elements/modules
Formulates training policies and schedules utilizing knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems or changes in products, procedures, or services
Develops teaching aids to include training manuals, demonstration models, reference materials and visual aids

Requirements:

BA/BS or equivalent + 3-8 years of experience in Technical Instruction
ITIL v3 Certification required
DoDI 8570.01m Certification required
Excellent communication skills
Organization and time management skills
Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
Able to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desire to actively pursue learning opportunities in the technical/engineering and training fields

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

ITIL v4 Certification preferred

Schedule:

Contractor personnel working on-site will be required to work up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, during the contract period. A typical duty day while present onsite is from 0800 to 1700. The scope of this contract provides 24/7/365 IT Service Management and support. As such, some positions may be required to perform shift work and may be required to provide surge capability in support of the customer’s mission.

Travel:

Travel may be required to various CONUS locations at the direction of the customer
