Position : ACADEMIC TUTOR TEMPORARY
Job Description : Tutor high school students, individually or in groups, in the academic subjects:
English
Math (Algebra I & II, Geometry & Pre-Calculus),
Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) and
Language (Spanish).
Manage, organize and control their study center room/area. Responsible for students’ attitudes, behaviors, focus and productivity. Responsible for initiating contact, following up and maintaining daily written tutorial logs of students. Must report any disruptions, disturbances, organize required parent conference/call to Instructional Coordinator. Must notify the Counselors of students’ grades of “C” or below in academic subjects. Other related duties as required.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (English, Math, Science). Full Academic Year commitment preferred. Excellent tutorial skills a must! Must have excellent oral and written communication & interpersonal skills, record keeping and supervisory skills. Knowledge of computers & software. Attention to detail. Be assertive, energetic, sociable, punctual and dependable.
