What You’ll Contribute to OHM Advisors
The Office Technician provides documentation management and manages computer files for all construction projects. Review documentation submitted by construction staff, contractors and clients as appropriate.
Your Responsibilities
Responsible for CIMS data entry and may recommend development of additional tools in the CIMS system. Verify site project data for insurance, permits, and other items necessary before allowing the project to start. Continue to monitor conformity through closeout.
Receives inspection requests from contractors and developers and distributes inspection assignments to appropriate construction staff.
Establish and maintain OHM “site” construction project job files and computer files.
Direct and/or answer inquiries from Field and Office Client Representatives, contractors, developers, and clients as appropriate.
Assist in the composition of letters, reports and other materials for both internal and external distribution.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma.
Preferred two years (or equivalent) of college level courses in engineering, some of which involved construction contract procedures and accounting practices.
Has at least one year of experience in similar position and in similar field.
Possess excellent speaking, spelling and grammar abilities. Must work well in a team environment.
Computer proficient in the utilization of spreadsheet, database and word processing applications.
