Job Description : Managed Services – Epic Associate TrainerAs an Epic Associate Trainer, your work at Tegria will focus on providing successful workflow-based in-classroom training to a diversified audience for an electronic healthcare record utilizing the Epic system of applications, as well as testing of training materials and the training environment. This position requires a desire to complete the credentialing process, including an intense training program on the applications(s) you will be teaching, competency checking, teach-backs and teaching the application before a review panel.The role you playAn effective Epic Associate Trainer will work alongside a Credentialed Trainer to help the organization on a whole achieve success through:Client Responsibilities: Embracing our mission to humanize healthcareLiving our Tegria values–being real, serving intentionally, and stepping in and stepping upAttending and passing the Credentialing ProgramDeveloping a strong understanding of the Epic application(s) as implemented at the organizationDeveloping a strong understanding of the workflows that you will be trainingWorking knowledge of adult learners and adult education principlesConducting clinical software training classes for the workforce as assigned based on credentialing competencyWorking with the Principal Trainers to prepare approved materials while meeting project timelinesRecommending adjustments and updates to learning materials and curriculum as needed to the Principal TrainerAdministering proficiency assessmentsMaintaining training records in the learning management systemSupporting as needed – go-lives, at-the-elbow support, etc.Providing status reports and updates in a timely mannerWhat we’re looking forWe expect: A minimum of 1 year of experience providing Epic application support.Ability to work closely with and mentor other team members and help them to learn new skills and improve their abilitiesPositive energy and interpersonal skills with the ability to be relatable to both your team and your clientsStrong application knowledge and familiarity with relevant workflowsExperience managing multiple simultaneous projects effectivelyExceptional communication skills with client leadership, project team, and operationsTravel is required 100%We’d love to see: Epic certification in one or more applicationsInformation Technology experienceHealthcare industry experience/backgroundPrior experience testing and training on EpicNow, a little about us …At Tegria, we bring bold ideas and breakthroughs to improve care, technology, revenue, and operations in ways that move healthcare organizations from patient-centered to human-centered.
