Job Description : US-OregonThis isn’t your average accountant job. You’d be working with a small, expert team for the top workers’ comp insurer in Oregon – known for its public mission, superior service, great benefits, and work-life balance.Our dream candidate understands complex accounting and ERP systems. They’re comfortable and effective as a point person for the department who collaborates across divisions and communicates to the executives. And they’re skilled at building relationships and interpreting financial information for nonaccountants. We also offer the option to work from our office in Salem.QualificationsThe following qualifications are recommended: Eight or more years of increasingly responsible experience that includes financial reporting, as well as general and investment accounting responsibilities, preferably in the insurance industry.Two or more years of supervisory or significant leadership experience.A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.Certification as a public accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)Other combinations of skills and experience may be considered.Job Type: Full-timePay: $7,360.00 – $9,815.00 per monthSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location
