Position : Logistics Coordinator
Job Description : JOB SUMMARYPlan, schedule, direct, and coordinate the transportation activities. Coordinate within the organization and with outside transportation companies to ensure safe and efficient deliveries.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAllocate sales orders to production ordersPlan loads in the system to maximize efficient load plans and minimize costCoordinate with carriers to pick up the loadsPrepare and coordinate load plan with loading crew- load diagramAssemble shipping packet for the drivers, BOL, MSO, and special instructionsCollaborate with Shipping to minimize loading challengesCollaborate with carriers to minimize shipping challengesCollaborate with Sales to minimize delivery and scheduling issues that may come upContact dealer to arrange delivery- if neededPartner with Sales on delivery and returns of product, help with investigations if product is damaged during deliveryAssist others with outbound logistics questionsOther duties as assignedYOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSHigh school diploma or higher3+ year of experience in logistics operations3+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export operations experienceProven record processing shipments in accordance with DOT regulations and hazardous material labeling requirementsBasic proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, and SlidesPrior global shipping management/customs clearance experience is highly desirableLife at Manitou and BRPAt Manitou and BRP, we have a deep connection to our consumers, one created from a shared passion for the Ultimate Ride.
