We are 100+ strong around the world, with 10 global offices in 7 countries.Job SummaryYou will be responsible for working with our global product management team with the goal of developing new accounts of business for our existing chemical product lines into end-use manufacturers within the territory. Regional account managers have an excellent understanding of their region, and are tasked with developing high-level clients and growing and maintaining strategic relationships within the region.*** Employee must be located in one of the following states within 90 minutes drive to a major airport: CA/NV/AZ/UT/WA/OR/ID. ***Responsibilities and DutiesNurture, manage, and grow a healthy business portfolio within the territory, using a long term perspective, leveraging both inside & outside sales tacticsManage the entire sales funnel: generate leads, qualify them by cold calling and emailing, gain approvals, negotiate prices, get orders, and maintain the businessConduct market research, attend trade shows, and stay on top of industry trendsAid in demand forecasting to inform the purchasing patterns of our various product groups related to your industry categoryAnticipate and proactively respond to business needs and the needs of your customersQualifications and Skills3+ years of experience in chemical sales & marketing in the regional market with a good knowledge of the manufacturing landscape in the regionHigh energy, go-getter, entrepreneurial mentalityAbility to foster and manage customer relationships with a client-friendly personalityAbility to self-organize and be ultimately accountable for the satisfaction of your customersA commitment to going above and beyond to make clients happy with a “no task too small” outlookProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)EducationBA/BS requiredOtherSalary plus profit-sharing commission structure (with no “cap” to your commission upside)Health benefitsChance to join a healthy, growing business with a global footprintAbility to work from homeJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $130,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCommission payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:specialty chemical sales: 3 years (Required)CRM software: 3 years (Preferred)Excel: 3 years (Preferred)NACD: 3 years (Preferred)working for a chemical distributor: 3 years (Preferred)living in CA/NV/AZ/UT/WA/OR/ID: 3 years (Preferred)Willingness to travel:50% (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
