Job Description : Service TechnicianJob DetailsPay$23 – $25 per hourBenefitsHealth insurancePaid time offDental insurance401(k)Vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) matchingReferral programEmployee assistance programPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Diagnose and repair equipment, to include liquid propane, gas, and diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, lifting systems, etc.Properly block, chock and chain equipment, and disassemble equipment as needed to facilitate major component removal and repairPerform equipment inspections to identify potential problems and safety concernsPerform routine and preventive scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, add fluids, changing worn parts and other maintenance itemsComplete basic and advanced technical training as assignedMaintain a culture of safety & participate in all safety meetingsPerform other related duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBasic Knowledge & CompetenciesExcellent customer service skillsExperience and knowledge in repair work for heavy equipment, machinery and other types of equipment utilized in the construction, manufacturing or distribution industry.Excellent mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge and problem- solving skillsPrevious Experience & EducationHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMechanical or trade school certificate beneficialValid driver’s license requiredPhysical RequirementsStanding, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basisAbility to lift up to 75 poundsMust furnish own toolsJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: One location
