Job Description : The Certified Sterile Processor Tech responsibilities include:General SummaryThis position performs tasks of varying complexity. These include: decontamination of soiled instrumentation and equipment, stocking of shelves, issuing patient care supplies and equipment, preparing supplies for surgical cases, performing routine departmental preventative maintenance, maintaining departmental charge and tracking information and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssesses equipment and instrument needs as they relate to each department of the hospital.Plans activities based upon specific procedures being performed.Implements activities to efficiently maintain and distribute equipment and instruments.Evaluates the cleanliness and safety of the unit as well as the number and the amount of supplies required to maintain adequate levels within the department.Self – Management: Demonstrates effective communication skills and interpersonal relationships.SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS2+ years of experience – Required High School Diploma or GED – RequiredSPD Cert -* Required*Travel – Highly PreferredCERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTSBLS (AHA)IAHCSMMJob Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $38.00 – $40.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Alpena, MI 49707: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Sterile Processing Technicians: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:CSPDT (Required)CBSPD (Preferred)BLS from AHA (Required)Shift availability:Overnight Shift (Preferred)Night Shift (Preferred)Day Shift (Preferred)Willingness to travel:50% (Preferred)Work Location: One locationSpeak with the employer+91 8455050522
