Scope
Spiegelworld is looking for an experienced Ticketing Supervisor to join our team in Las Vegas. This position will be responsible for supporting the ticketing team and assisting guests with reservations. Put your outgoing personality, love of entertainment and first-class guest service skills to work connecting guests with Spiegelworld shows and restaurants. The Ticketing Supervisor is responsible for facilitating ticket sales, training agents, and providing superior customer service to all internal and external guests. All duties are to be performed in accordance with Spiegelworld’s policies, practices, and procedures.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

Create a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction;
Collaborate and work with management in creating processes which encompass the company’s diversity commitment;
Maintain Agent schedules to ensure proper coverage and superior customer service;
Approving time sheets and time off requests;
Create and maintain department specific forms, spreadsheets, files and reports;
Oversee the assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department;
Interact positively and communicate effectively with all box office, venue staff, and restaurant partners to ensure a seamless and positive and guest experience;
Exhibit proper interdepartmental communication and organization;
Participate in developing and analyzing new and existing procedures to enhance guest services and maximizing ticket sales;
Provide the Agents the tools needed to be distinctive, pertaining to superior customer service for both internal and external guests;
Effectively develop and mentor hourly employees to ensure departmental standards and goals are understood and met;
Assist with coverage including, but not limited to, answering phones, counter coverage when necessary;
Maximize day of sales by being creative, taking initiative, and empowering the Agents;
Manage daily inventory to effectively sell out the show performances;
Perform other duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.

Requirements

A minimum of three (3) years AND at least one (1) year in a supervisor role in box office sales or ticketing experience is required. Ideal candidates will have worked directly in the entertainment or performing arts industries.
Earned a High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
Proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with AXS or Archtics, is a plus
Must be self-starter and able to work in a hectic fast-paced environment, while maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor.
Physical requirements include ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; lift up to 35 lbs.; type on a keyboard and remain standing before a computer monitor for extended periods of time.
Strong work ethic with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effectively assist with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, tact, friendliness, poise and firmness.
Display an understanding of, sensitivity to, and appreciation for the diverse ethnic, socio-economic, disability, and genders of guests and co-workers.
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to SPW uniform and appearance guidelines.
Comfortable improvising in the moment as part of the guest experience.
Following a conditional offer of employment, able to show proof of being fully vaccinated, able to get vaccinated within 7 days, or have a qualifying medical or religious exception.
Willing to participate in employer-paid COVID-19 testing and screening program.
Must have valid work authorization for the US.
