Job Description : When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we’d be pretty surprised if talabat didn’t pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we’ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.
Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less!

What’s on your plate?
Establish talabat’s advertising proposition and the tech solutions to deliver it.
Work with various stakeholders to understand pain points and develop solutions to resolve them.
Define best practices, and have a deep understanding of best in-class solutions for advertising management.
Work with the product team to define the roadmap and strategic objectives for the media solutions function for talabat quick commerce.
Develop guidelines for use of our digital in-app assets, balancing customer and commercial outcomes.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effectiveness of our advertising options and usage, maximising ROAS for advertisers.
Track benchmarks, lead deep dives and testing, and drive for improvement in results
Support markets with account management of supplier’s regional marketing teams
Work closely with the Product Development team as they build best-in-class ad tech
Lead on ensuring that we meet or exceed industry standards when it comes to verification and accreditation
What did we order?
You gained 5-7 years hands-on experience in the digital media and advertising industry, ideally in an advertising/media agency working with large FMCG clients
Inside-out knowledge of programmatic advertising, digital KPIs, and ad management tools
You have a strong customer-centric mindset, are passionate about grocery retail, and have a proven track record of delivering impactful, valuable campaigns
Hands-on entrepreneurial mentality, you take ownership and are self-starting
You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
You have a high level of competence and credibility to influence strategic decisions at all levels of the organization and across different cultures
You have experience working in dynamic matrix organisations
You are confident working closely with data and product teams
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Verbal & written fluency in English, additional languages is a plus
