Program Manager – Compliance Assurance will build processes and work with stakeholders across geographies and market places. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about people management, managing operations, developing scalable systems, driving process improvement and working with multiple stakeholders. The leader will be responsible for partnering with WW WHS team, Operations team and Tech partners for execution of WHS Compliance Assurance Programs. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, this individual will build processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure Risk Management at sites for a safe, healthful & engaging working environment for our Associates across the network. The person needs to work with senior leaders to create and achieve the WHS vision in alignment with Amazon’s global standards, policies and procedures in this space.

The program Manager must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent written and verbal messages. The person will be required to identify best practices and incorporate these best practices into our standards to continuously improve the processes. The person must possess excellent program management skill, relevant operational background and experience in data analysis. The individual must have ability to work with cross functional teams including senior leadership in India and abroad.

Key job responsibilities

Program Manager Responsibilities:

Possess adequate knowledge on leading people, running operations, worked with stakeholders in different geographies and time zones.
Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon WHS Policies.
Deliver on-time and ensure high quality deliverables
Build strategies on the future state of program and ideate on key initiatives for program improvement.
Work with technology teams to contribute towards development/ improvement of portals, dashboards and online tools including logic validation.
Systematically escalate problems or variance in the operating plan to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
Excellent communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to convey updates on issues, operational status and business drivers as needed throughout the activity cycle and during daily/weekly reviews.
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards on the key drivers of our business.
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
Good understanding of Risk Management at sites
PMP certification.
Additional 2 years’ experience as a business analyst/ data analyst
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma analytical techniques (green or yellow belt)
Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required.
Strong relationship building/ networking/ interpersonal skills.
Creating complex Excel VBA macros.
Change agent with energy, passion and skill to drive improvements.
