Job Description : PeopleShare is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for our client in Trenton, NJ! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity, our client is offering a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental and 401K, plus paid time off! Job Details for Staff Accountant:
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8AM – 5PM
Pay Rate: $70k – $80K/year, depending on experience
Direct Hire
Job Responsibilities & Description for Staff Accountant:
Prepare account reconciliations, actively investigates reconciling items and proposes resolutions.
Prepares accounting related reports.
Assistance with monthly, quarterly and year end closing activities.
Support physical inventories and cycle counts.
Prepares and analyzes journal entries; proposes adjustments as necessary.
Assists in the analysis and interpretation of accounting records for use by management, as required.
Maintain company internal control policies.
Assist with accounts receivables, accounts payable, and payroll as needed.
Job Requirements for Staff Accountant:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Previous experience as a Staff Accountant required.
Must have excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
