Position : Utility – Coos Bay Shipping Terminal

Job Description : Roseburg’s, Coos Bay Shipping Terminal, located on Coos Bay, Oregon is part of a family owned progressive company that is considered a leader in the wood chip export industry. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Chip Terminal team. This position will work closely with the Facility team, internal and external customers on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be a safety conscious individual with a commitment to being injury free and maintaining high quality and productivity standards per terminal expectations.

Tasks will include, but not be limited to; clean up, fire watch, assisting other employees in duties, unplugging jams during upset conditions, assist in ship loading tasks, minor maintenance, and ability to fight fires at incipient phase.
Training will be provided to operate mobile equipment such as: Forklift, Bobcat, Front End Loader, and CAT.

Excellent communication skills, (verbal and written), and the ability to complete recordkeeping requirements are an expectation. Interfacing with third party certification and inspection agencies during plant audits may be required.
Qualifications are: High school diploma or equivalent is required, must be able to work safely and productively with minimal supervision. Must be able to pass a Federal background check and obtain a TWIC certification and have a valid driver’s license.

Work schedule is swing shift (Mon-Thur. 5pm -1:30am and Sunday 5pm – 1:30am), though could change depending on terminal needs. Overtime is expected during ship loading operations.
