Job Description : The Langholm Day Centre are currently urgently seeking a part-time Carer and Bus Driver.The Day Centre is a non-profit charity catering for the elderly and vulnerable across the community. We deliver meals across the town as well as host a limited number of sit-in members due to social distancing.The role will include one-to-one care, driving the bus to transport members to and from their homes, cleaning and supporting the overall operation of the Day Centre.Fixed hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 11am to 3pm but with overtime available to cover staff holidays.D1 License preferred. We are looking for responsible and caring candidates who will work hard and adhere to COVID prevention methods to protect our members.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 8 per weekSalary: £8.91 per hourBenefits:On-site parkingSchedule:HolidaysMonday to FridayNo weekendsOvertimeCOVID-19 considerations:We adhere strictly to all health and social care guidance.Experience:Driving: 3 years (preferred)Social Care: 1 year (preferred)Reference ID: DCCarer
