Job Description Summary: PayPal is seeking an SAP FICO Functional Analyst to join its SAP Support team in Hyderabad, India. The FICO Analyst will manage SAP Application and support; Integration within finance landscape, ensure uninterrupted service and facilitate enhancements and/or updates to the system.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Configure / design SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, AR, AP and other modules
Support end to end ECC Russia and other country specific Localization solution
Solution and document functional specifications
Define, execute and support testing of the solution
Work with SAP Bank Analyzer team for AFI – ECC integration support and enhancements
End to end Localization Support including ECC, BW and integration with AFI, INFA – Russia, China and other countries
Work with the Application Architects and the business to successfully perform gap analysis for medium to complex projects and to translate the business requirements and business processes into functional design specifications for SAP configuration and custom SAP development work.
Document all implemented solutions and mentor SAP Support Specialists to ensure successful end user support.
Collaborate with Client and Support team to ensure customer queries are duly addressed
Monitor application status performance and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders
Analyze functional and technical cases and provide a resolution in accordance with agreed customer metrics
Work closely with support partners in the management and resolution of help desk.
Required Skills include:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of SAP experience in multiple modules – FI, CO, MM, SD, AA, GL, AR, AP; SAP Localization Solutions – Russia, China and other countries
Knowledge of S4Hana configuration
Aptitude for troubleshooting issues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
Affinity for a high-performance, project-oriented work environment; ability to pivot to critical path tasks as necessary
Team-oriented individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions
Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
Strong technical/development background and proven ability to dig into technical details and manage deployments from end-to-end.
Proven experience leading the design and implementation of application development programs and release management processes.
Experience managing projects through the entire development life cycle, including support during pilot, rollout, and post-production.
Strong business expertise, keen understanding of business needs, and ability to translate these needs into aggressive yet achievable roadmaps and delivery schedules.
Proficient with release documentation and comfortable developing/using metrics to measure release success and identify efficiency improvement areas.
Success in developing artifacts to support major software implementation projects with multiple stakeholders across several regions.
Professional maturity combined with high energy and collaboration with other teams.
Experience working in large, complex environments, with a specific focus on infrastructure and applications development.
Proven ability to manage diverse, highly complex problems and ability to devise solutions.
Ability to manage multiple project teams and inter-related work streams, including collaboration across various organizations such as PMO, IT, QA, Release Management, and Finance operations
