Position: We’re looking for a Data Prep Test Lead to support a large, 10-year, government contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Skillsets / Responsibilities:
5+ years UI Automation Framework: Selenium, JUnit or TestNG, Cucumber BDD
Core Java knowledge with OOP concepts
Database testing with strong SQL knowledge
508 testing
Web Services Testing, API (Rest Assured)
AWS/Azure
Jenkins
Mobile app testing
Katalon or other codeless automation tools
Salesforce
Orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understand performance requirements and risk assessments to ensure test designs, scripts, and data support testing of the requirements.
Coordinate with application and functional experts to fully understand performance test cases in preparation to develop automated scripting.
Develop automated test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more performance test efforts.
Execute tests and report results according to testing standards and procedures.
Assist code/script implementation of test environment for performance requirements and tools.
Support defect resolution management in coordination with performance test lead, performance architect and technical teams.
Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.
Manage or complete test analysts’ work throughout test effort to ensure the standard performance engineering analysis and reporting is completed.
Work with developers, end users and organizations to create test plans and test scripts.
Coordinate with test sites and other team participants to plan test events.
Create reports, track problems, and report on errors that are identified.
Configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete testing
Participate in the development of a roadmap to move the application from its current monolithic structure to a micro-service/API driven structure.
General understanding of cloud web environments
Participate in the requirements definition process to better understand the customer needs to create acceptance criteria and test cases
Follow established team-developed coding and software tools standards
Develop work products in adherence to established security and quality control standards for software development
Requirements:
Must be US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Dual Citizen.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering / technical discipline and minimum of Eight (8) years of experience. Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
Must be able to obtain a public trust security clearance.
