As a Applications Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. within Global Facilities, you will primarily focus on efforts that improve operational efficiency and tools that enable timely decision-making and access to data. You will provide both complete web applications with front/back ends and data collection and processing apps. You will utilize full-stack software development and work directly with customers all the way from initial concept discussions to rollout and training. You will also interact with other IT team members to gain access to data or to assist in developing database sources.
We are looking for a candidate who has shown interest and enthusiasm in learning new technologies, has hands-on experience doing full-stack development, and is ready to manage a variety of tasks and projects in an independent environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Crafting new and enhancing existing software solutions
Sketch to scale software development encompassing the full SDLC
Working within a collaborative team environment
Working with customers to gather requirements, host status updates/product demos, collecting user feedback, documentation, training, product roll-outs
Minimum Qualifications
1-2 years of professional experience is highly preferred
Hands-on experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Hands-on experience building both front ends and back ends
A good understanding of relational databases with hands-on experience designing and building databases and developing SQL statements
The willingness and ability to easily learn new programming languages and technologies
The ability to work well with customers and listen to their feedback while balancing their needs with good software decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A strong work ethic and good time management skills
The ability to handle and prioritize several concurrent projects or tasks
A proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
The ability to independently troubleshoot problems to resolution
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with version-control software and procedures is a strong plus
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs is a strong plus
Experience building data visualizations is a strong plus
Experience with CodeIgniter is a strong plus
Preference will also be given to candidates who are familiar with other tools and concepts used in software development such as:
