Job Description : KOmbatchain is changing the face of boxing for the better.

We are building a blockchain-powered ecosystem and super-app that will transform boxing, establishing it as a modern sport that is both equitable and diverse, for the benefit of the fans and the fighters.

The integrated KOmbatchain ecosystem creates new earning opportunities for athletes, provides never-before-seen protections for active fighters and will develop new pathways into boxing by developing and investing at the grassroots level. Fans will be able to engage with the sport in all-new ways, with unique experiences, access and content offered through the KOmbatchain super-app. We have assembled a strong team of advisors to help guide the initiative, featuring some of the biggest names in combat sports, both past and present.

The KOmbatchain marketing & communications is dedicated to developing and executing innovative and effective global marketing across our brand. They are tasked with developing high-impact, iconic and culturally relevant creative for consumer marketing, content and experiences across our rapidly growing brand.
As KOmbatchain Head of Social Media you can expect to:

Develop and manage a small in-house social media team and required agency partners
Divide and prioritise workload, supporting the social media team to align their strengths to role responsibilities and work to drive their career development
Lead our organic social strategy to drive growth and high-level engagement across current and relevant emerging social channels
Oversee the social media calendar, production and scheduling of content across all social channels
Create social first content in partnership with our creative design team and external agencies – optimising its use for different platforms
Work with influencers and content creators to create best-in-class social media content
Build out our influencer programme to create a community of influencers who will contribute to, engage with and share KOmbatchain content
Use a test and learn approach to drive meaningful social media metrics for the brand, conducting experiments that will bring a growth hacking mentality to our social strategy
Develop acquisition funnels that will take people from social media through a demand generation journey
Develop world class customer stories that are brought to life on social in the most engaging mediums
Collaborate cross-functionally to manage and execute social campaigns and product launches
Use audience, social media and customer insights to help develop ideas that will resonate with our audience and community
The skills and experience required for the role:
8+ years of progressively senior experience within a digital agency or in-house environment; experience with sports or cryptocurrency brands preferred
Proven record of working successfully with cross-functional departments, in fast-paced environments with changing direction, preferably start up
Complete and up-to-date knowledge across social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, Discord, YouTube, TikTok) and any future platforms that would benefit the brand
Proficient with social media listening, analytics, scheduling tools and advocacy tools
Experience managing budgets
Ability to forge relationships with key stakeholders and people around the business to ensure social media is at the forefront of people’s minds
You have an eye for detail, are well-organised and used to working on multiple tasks
You use data to validate ideas and measure impact
Fluent written & spoken English is required with excellent communication skills.
What would really make your application stand out is:

Previous experience working in boxing or combat sports
A working knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrencies
Fluency in additional languages would be a bonus
