Job Description : We are on the lookout for a new Junior Developer to join our exciting team.
As a Junior Developer at Adimo you will be responsible for supporting our Web Development team on adding new retailers to the Adimo platform. You will report directly to the Technical Director and enjoy the support of a highly skilled team. You will be working on technology that’s essential to the success of Adimo.
You will be trained, supported, mentored and encouraged to thrive and learn within your position.
What’s Involved?
As a Junior Developer, you will be responsible for integrating new retailers to our platform as well as maintaining existing ones. Your responsibilities would include:
Ensuring that all the correct meta data is extracted from a retailer’s website by tagging the website using Adimo’s proprietary tools
Integrating new retailers that support Adimo’s Buy It Now, Add to Basket and Where to Buy technologies
Maintaining existing retailers in the platform in a timely manner
Working with the Account Management and Production teams to resolve any issues they have setting up retailers in the Adimo platform.
Devising ways that tooling can be used to further automate or simplify processes
Ensuring that workflows are followed correctly using internal tools such as Jira and Github

Requirements
You will have:
Strong technical expertise, including:
An excellent understanding of how both static and dynamic websites work
Experience with REST web services
Experience of HTML5, CSS3. JavaScript
Good problem solving capabilities
Effective & reliable communication skills
What would sweeten the deal?
Experience with NodeJS
Familiarity with web application frameworks such as Angular, AngularJS or React
Familiarity with Github and Jira product suites
Experience with headless browsers such as Chromium
