At St John’s, we believe that teaching is more than a job: it’s a passion. If you want to join a staff who believe in putting children first, then St John’s could be for you!
We are a successful, caring, Church of England primary school situated in the heart of a vibrant and diverse community.
Our children benefit from an exciting curriculum rooted in their own experiences, but developed to broaden their horizons and raise their aspirations. We teach our children to “reach for the stars” and be the best they can be.
Our mission is education: we teach them how to think, how to manage themselves, how to improve their relationships with others and how to learn. We want them to compete with others on an equal footing, regardless of their social or economic starting points. We see children as people, not numbers on a spreadsheet, and we refuse to let any barrier to learning hold our children back.
Successful applicants will benefit from working in an outstanding school which understands the need to develop and support its staff.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
