Engage Education are an approved National Tuition Partner and are currently supporting a number of specialist schools across Leeds with their tuition.
Starting immediately, our client is looking for experienced tutors who have a background in supporting learners who have a range of needs including those with SEMH, ASC and other complex learning difficulties.
Ideally, you will have covered a range of subjects including Maths, English and Science to entry-level. Have experience in Speech Therapy, Literacy, Intervention.
This is most likely to be face to face tuition however we are open to those who can support with online tuition as well.
Your Role:
Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis often with complex learning needs.
Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class.
Providing feedback to teachers and parents.
You will be assisting pupils with Complex Communication and Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities.
What you will need:
A range of behaviour management techniques
To have worked with learners with a range of needs
The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods.
To be able to commit to working at the school for a long period of time.
A resilient attitude.
