Salesforce is looking for a Principal Engineer/Architect to join our team in India. You will be working with a group of world-class engineers, architects and product managers to build breakthrough features, and next generation developer
tooling salesforce.com (http://salesforce.com/)’s customers depend on to integrate with the Salesforce platform. You have a
solid understanding of the MVC pattern, an obsession with designing revolutionary architectures, and a knack for automation.
You’ll be a part of a modern, lean, self-governing engineering team where you have the ability to switch hats between
designing, coding and influential thought-leadership. Salesforce Test Advisor targets regression detection, API analysis, DOM
anomalies and automation noise suppression. Our team is passionate about enabling developers with self-service CLI, API
tooling and enabling the industry with flexible, pluggable frameworks.
Required Skills/Experience:
10+ years practical experience developing highly scalable, distributed systems and APIs
5+ years in system design and API oriented architecture.
Expert in OOP/Java, Javascript, NodeJS or Golang and CI/CD technologies including Jenkins, Spinnaker etc.
Strong foundation in architectural principles of modern web development and cloud based platforms
Experience with automated unit and functional testing with frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium etc
Ability to influence at all levels across product and engineering.
Systems thinker, articulate and balanced in demeanor with crisp written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills
Experience developing in an enterprise environment – source code control, continuous deployment, release
management
Experience with AWS ecosystem, EKS, Lambda
Experience with Splunk, Docker / K8s
Experience with a variety of test automation frameworks / Selenium
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, or other similar technologies
Experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & API’s
Certifications in Force.com and/or Java
