Your main responsibilities
Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
Work with the team to understand impacts of branches and code merges
Maintains the release schedule for all core services.
Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures and dependencies.
Produce Deployment and Implementation Plans
Execute deployments and configurations across all the environments of the project.
Monitor all lower environments (Salesforce Sandboxes) for release process / creating and synchronizing sandbox metadata. Also maintaining their consistency.
Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time
Conduct Release Readiness reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
Weekly Release Reporting
Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs
Job Requirements
About the ideal candidate
University degree in Scientific studies, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in similar position
Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle
Demonstrated experience in version control systems, especially with Git, CI/CD tools and scripting
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Platform, preferably:
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor
Soft skills:
Calmed, patient, organized and willing to support other people (technical and not technical skilled)
Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
Experience and certification on other platforms like Heroku, Boomi will be a plus.
Jenkins, Github, SFDX – Demonstrated experience in version control systems, especially with Git, CI/CD tools and scripting
Experience and certification on Financial Force, Apttus Conga CLM/CPQ will be a plus.
