About the job

This position is needed to partner with the Global AP Team to decide which continuous improvement ideas should be brought forward into the project portfolio, applying criteria which help us achieve strategic objectives. This position is based out of our Bangalore, India office and will report to the Global AP Director.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

Find opportunities to strengthen the AP Operating model within the end to end Source to Pay model and service delivery to the business
Constantly strive for process improvement to assist in achievement of AP strategy and highest quality compliance conformance
Work closely with Digital Finance team and Technology owners to identify the best possible digital solutions & improvements to facilitate AP function deliver the best service to End User and achieve strategic objectives
Keep up to speed with industry benchmarks and constantly challenge how we are measuring ourselves
Lead AP project portfolio and proactively assess Continuous Improvement pipeline
Build external network to keep up to date with industry practices and use this channel to generate ideas to keep strategy fresh and relevant
Work together with Global AP Managers to decide which continuous improvement ideas should be brought forward into project portfolio, applying criteria which help us achieve strategic objectives
Collaborate independently with Business Consultants (BCs) and Digital Solution Manager (DSM) to bring use cases for digital improvements to our service offerings (service model and tools)
Support and guide Business Partnering teams in project impact assessment and transformation execution
Accurately identify cost savings opportunities relating to digital implementations and pull together proven business case to present to senior stakeholders
Collaborate with S2P to strengthen the end to end service delivery & offering
Ensure best practices and processes across the IT & digital team for the consistent delivery of digital projects
Manage relationships with third party digital delivery partners, focusing on performance management against agreed SLA’s and KPI’s and reviewing product roadmaps to assess new improvements relevant for Twilio.
Recommend and implement changes to the service model as we roll out digital initiatives

Required:

Minimum of 05 years of consulting experience involving digital transformation, project management and continuous improvement in finance, accounting, and/or tax field/background.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills to engage with executive leadership of the clients
Analytical approach to resolve issues in a variety of sophisticated situations
Operational Excellence methodology (Lean Six Sigma experience preferred)
Good understanding of business processes (Procure to Pay)
Strong project management skills and experience. Experience with Proof of Concept (POC)
Experience in ERP system (e.g., Oracle Cloud Fusion, I-Expense) implementation with IDR expertise
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, etc.)
Experience with Intelligent Automation tools – RPA (e.g., UiPath), Data Mining, AI/ML, Chatbots etc
Experience in CRM, Ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) implementation
Audit experience and/or good knowledge of internal controls is preferred.
Experience in the financial services industry or another regulated industry is preferred. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Suite required

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information System
CPA / CA / ACCA license or MBA is preferred.

Prior experience in a supervisory capacity leading both people and projects

Location
This role will be based in our Bangalore office. Approximately 1% travel is anticipated.
