Solution Architect
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions for healthy and connected buildings. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analyzing technology stack, enterprise specifics, requirement gathering, feasibility analysis, market analysis, and creating solution prototypes using innovative approaches.
The candidate must be able to simplify complex problems to management and translate the business requirements to technical requirements. The candidate will be responsible for the creation of system design documentation and high-level architectural specifications including internal component details and external integrations. The candidate will also be responsible to perform research on potential project feasibility that can include developing proof of concept implementations to validate the design approach.
The candidate will also be responsible for setting up collaboration frameworks, participating in technology selections and solution development controls
Education
BE/ BTech or higher degree in CS/ECE/EE or equivalent discipline with 15+ years’ experience in engineering and a minimum of 8+years’ experience in large-scale software design.
Skills
Skills in programming, system integration, and deployment/commissioning environments that include but are not limited to Java, OO concepts, Design Patterns, microservices, REST and SOAP web services, JSON, Docker, Cloud environments like AWS and Azure. Also, familiarity with JIRA, GIT, and Maven
Experience/Qualifications
Required Technical Skills/Education:
Expertise in cloud, mobile, and web solutions & services.
Rich experience in researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
Building and integrating information systems to meet the company’s needs.
Presenting architecture and design concepts to stakeholders
Experience in Cloud Services AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
Hands-on development experience in Core Java, J2EE technology, .Net,
Expertise in developing software-oriented architecture using microservices, Restful web services, etc.
Experience in any ORM Framework (Hibernate, JPA or Ibatis, etc.)
Familiar with DevOps and Build tools (Gradle/ Maven)
Preferred Technical Skills/Education:
Experience in designing and building system integrations.
Experience in SQL Databases (Oracle, SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Experience in UI design with JQuery, javascript (Angular 2.X or ReactJS)
Hands-on experience in handling GIT
Strong organizational and technical leadership skills
Strong understanding of AGILE/SCRUM processes and methodologies ·
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Should also possess strong influencing and negotiation skills
Additional Comments
This individual is self-directed, highly motivated, organized with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as comfortable working on a range of problems. The candidate should be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, multinational team environment with a focus on innovative solutions.
