Job Description : We are looking for ad-hoc workers to work across the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham and Barking and Dagenham. We work with a vast range of schools in these boroughs all supporting with special ed. Our settings range from provisions attached to mainstream schools, Alternative provisions and PRU’s; for children and young people with SEMH, ASC Schools and PMLD (Profound and multiple learning difficulties) settings. If you have experience with young people with Autism, severe learning delays, physical and sensory impairments, non-verbal/mute and have used techniques or training such as PEC’s Makaton, ABA, Therapeutic interventions, sign, BSL/ASL these skills would be put to use in these schools. If you have worked with young people with SEMH, Anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, self-harmers etc, we also work with AP’s and therapeutic units where if you have any prior training with Team Teach, or any de-escalation/behaviour management training, counselling or Art/Music therapy please also apply. You would be expected to go to a number of schools we work with across the East London area. This is ideal for someone who needs flexible working, you can chose the days you work each week and you get to work in a number of settings to really grow experience and help a wide range of pupils in the process

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
