About You

We are looking for a Tech Lead to lead the development of our consumer apps. In this role, you will play a vital role in implementing PropertyGuru’s vision to be a property seeker’s trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

Development, review & ownership of architecture & design artifacts

Participate and drive the architectural decisions for the application

Perform technical reviews and mentor junior developers in the team

Provide technical expertise to resolve critical application issues

Navigate the team efforts in the right direction by providing the right balance between business and technical priorities

Work with Product Managers, UI/UX team members to translate requirements and designs to well-thought architecture and implementations.

Regularly communicate with stakeholders about risk analysis and design tradeoffs

Multitask and be able to work with project team distributed across geographies

On the job training of new onboarding team members

Be able to develop career paths for team members and provide them appropriate feedback and guidance to help them scale up in their roles.

Must have

8+ years of full-time hands-on engineering experience

Deep experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React Native, and the unique challenges of development for mobile

Competency in data structures, algorithms, and software design

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or engineering

Experience in Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD)

Worked in Agile or Scrum-based environment before

Recent experience with React Native deploying to both iOS and Android
