Job Description : Netrix Limited is an award-winning web design and development agency serving a wide range of clients. We currently have a great opportunity for a web designer to join our company and work with us on some interesting up-coming projects.The candidate should ideally have 1 to 2 years’ web design experience, with a good understanding of HTML, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite. We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic individual with good eye for digital design together with good communication skills. Work can be split between home and office depending on circumstances.Candidate will need to provide a portfolio and/or examples of work.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Liaise with clients to identify brand guidelines and site design requirements.Create wireframes and design concepts based on the client’s requirements.Deliver finalised site design files in Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.Convert design files into valid HTML and CSS/LESS/SCSS.Communicate design vision to both the client and developers.Update site content and site designs of existing client websites.Assist clients with general website support issues.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Essential:Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite in particular Photoshop.Good understanding of HTML and CSS/LESS/SCSS.An understanding of responsive web design.An understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.Confidence using wireframing software or Figma.Good understanding of modern web design trends.Able to work within brand and design guidelines.Well organised and able to work to deadlines.Motivated with good communication skills and confident in building client relationships.Experience using content management systems such as WordPress and/or Modx.Helpful:An understanding of PHP and JavaScript.An understanding of on-page SEO optimisation.Access to a car and hold a UK driving license.BENEFITS20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and Christmas week (office closes).Private healthcare.Pension.Performance related bonus.Netrix Limited has been established since 2002 and has gone on to deliver sophisticated websites and web solutions for a variety of SME’s and larger organisations.
