This is a deliciously varied role for the ‘get it done personality type’ to take a pivotal role in digital expansion, scaling, fund reporting, and to further our quest for the holy grail to batch processes, deliver customer/supplier self service, manage by exception, track asset audit compliance as we reposition the business for institutional Clients.You must be able to:- negotiate and present options,- both do the numbers and write the reports,- do advanced excel/pivot tables,- manage a project trackers,- write up procedures, train others,- police policy, sign off processes,- task and track Clerks, and- get contributions from others on time …..As the lead finance person in the Growth, Digitalisation and Change Projects Team this will be an exciting but demanding role that will stretch your organisation wide technical skills.What you will be doing:For new assets: run development budgets through development life cycle as we track development, mobilise, furnish, market and lease up new residential buildings to connect leasing and asset management teams and inform decision making. Evaluate market demand and saturation levels and report lease up statistics. Run accounts and governance due diligence checks to support acquisitions where the entity is being acquired as well as the pipeline and operational assets.For stabilized assets:To track sustainability as we source, score and evaluate suppliers. To apply for ESG accreditations and evaluate upgrade programmes to further the net zero agenda. Corporate accounting for BTR assets and fund reporting.Process/Team oversight:Treasury controlsProcurement accreditationAsset ComplianceISO AuditsOutsourced service charge accountsBusiness improvement:Evaluating existing profitability models, morphing key transactions into batch processes, quickly knocking up process diagrams, re-training users. It goes without saying this is not a 9 to 5 job as innate creativity and problem solving abilities are a state of mind not something you turn on and off. To succeed you will always need one eye on fail safe mechanisms so setbacks do not jeopardies results.Your experience must include:Proven relevant financial analysis experience gained within AuditBig 4 or Banking Experience of ISO or other Quality Management SystemProven project financial reporting skills GAV, Yield and IRRAt least PQ Accountant (close to completing studies)Degree educatedAbility to handle fast paced, demanding environment Strong IT skillsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Performance bonusBenefits:Flexible scheduleGym membershipSchedule:Monday to FridayReference ID: mab
