Job Description : Supportive working environment, learning and developmentAlpha Omega is a customer focused approved Home Care Package and registered NDIS service provider, currently based in Cabramatta providing care services to Sydney metropolitan areas. We are looking for a new team member to join us on a casual capacity.Position Purpose: Report to Care Coordinator / Case Manager.To assist elderly clients in performing daily tasks and improve overall independence and wellbeing in a home or community setting.Location of work: Blacktown, Seven Hills, ToongagbbieJob responsibilities: Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.Transporting and accompanying clients when required.Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.Training clients to care for themselves and educate family members.Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.About youConfident and calm manner.Having an ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt communication skills to each client you work with.Must speak Cantonese/Mandarin.Current National Police Check (must-have)Desirable Qualification and other criteria.Live experience on working with people with elderly people or;Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aging, Social/Community Service) (desirable), or be willing to upskill yourself if we provide online and in-person training.Having full driver licence and owning a car (desirable).Job Type: Contract
