Job Description : Your role at My Booking Rewards will be to help maintain and enhance existing PHP based web applications. PHP 8.x, Laravel, Alpine, Tailwind CSS (TALL stack). You will also provide user support to production issues and requests, resolve bugs, technical and performance issues with existing systems. You will keep up to date with current web technology and design trends.To succeed in this role, you should:Have at least 1-2 years’ experience with PHPHave practical experience with Laravel, Git and MySQLWrite efficient, lean and scalable codeUnderstand SOLID Principles and Design PatternsBe passionate to learn more, be part of a team and contribute to company growthExperience with some of the following would be a bonus: Tailwind CSS, React, Alpine.js, LivewireDuties and Responsibilities (depending on your experience, you will be tasked with some/all of the following): Coding, debugging and managing our existing platform to ensure smooth and efficient operation and execution for all users.Creating code for specific criteria and client needsHandling support and specification documentation of reports and technical support to users.Website Design and development using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MySQLDatabase query and report developmentCreate structured, self-documenting and maintainable codeWork with Linux servers running Apache web serversEnhance existing website to improve efficiency and performanceQualificationsMinimum 1-year commercial experience or SW Engineering degreeAbility to work alone and as part of a teamGood time management and ability to prioritize.Confident, outgoing and with exceptional communication skills, internally and externally.Bright, highly motivated and keen to continue learning and adopting and driving new technology.Working conditions & benefitsWorking remotelyAccess to exclusive travel industry holidays at huge discounted ratesTravel to some overseas client may be a requirementSalary of circa £25K – £30K depending on experienceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per yearBenefits:Work from homeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayApplication question(s):Are you permanently located in UK ?Experience:Laravel: 1 year (required)Work authorisation:United Kingdom (required)Application deadline: 10/03/2022
