Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Application Support with J2EE, Java
In this role, you will be responsible to independently build data analysis around complex business problems from data available in the client owned or accessible systems. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into customer needs.
Responsibilities
Handling of tickets & escalation for all CS Reporting Portal Self Service related technical issues, applications, etc. in a non-production environment
Manage (non-production) platform incidents from inception to resolution
Pro-active reduction of severity and type of faults by root cause analysis methods
Communication with users on status of faults within agreed timeline periods
Manage and prioritize all tickets, either resolving them directly or re-assigning them to relevant support teams as required
Provide all internal clients with a dedicated, positive, and efficient service.
Adherence to process and procedures to maintain quality and professionalism.
Maintain Confidentiality of the business, and ensure compliance to the firm’s IT process & security policies
Take ownership for, investigate, log/track and resolve support queries. This will involve an understanding of the systems supported, their functionality as well as the underlying business concepts.
Communicate status and resolution of issues on a timely basis to users and Portal Team, escalating where appropriate to management.
Develop and maintain relationships with other technology teams including other global support / business lines, application development, QA and infrastructure (e.g. DBA, server teams, web services, etc.) teams.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications
3-5 years of hands-on technical experience implementing and/or supporting Data visualization and/or analytics tools (ex QlikSense, Tableau, R, Python) preferably with a working knowledge of financial/ regulatory reporting processes in banks; and has a good knowledge of financial products and services
Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA
Client facing experience who can quickly troubleshoot and adopt best practices to positively impact customer experience
Able to work under pressure, flexible and multi-task
Self-starter who can produce results with minimal supervision, has a passion for technology and be confident supporting multiple teams, products and requirements
Willingness to learn and innovate in a rapidly changing market
Strong communication skills and superior attention to detail
Hands on experience with Unix, Python, and/or Javascript/Angular JS
Familiar operating and delivering within a DevOps framework
Experience with any of the following: NPrinting, VizLib, Narrative Science
Understands data analysis, data profiling and documenting/population of a data sources
Agile Certified and working experience in Agile Projects
Experience with Hadoop or similar distributed data platforms
Familiar with AI / Machine Learning concepts
Practical experience setting up chatbots
