At the NHS, we are reminded every day of how important life is. As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to be sure that you can work in a way that is best for us and for our patients, and for you. Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement whether that’s job share, part time or another flexible pattern. In addition, although the role advertised may have a ‘home’ office base indicated, we remain committed to supporting flexibility around workplace locations. If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you.
The CAMHS locality teams have been developing over the last 3 years to provide a truly holistic and integrated approach to child and adolescent mental health care.
We are now looking to expand our team further, and are looking for a dynamic and solution focused individual who is passionate about high quality care for children and young people across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. You will be outcomes driven and work seamlessly across the CAMHS locality team and wider service.
We are looking for individuals with personal qualities that enable them to function effectively in what can be a challenging environment; with high levels of passion and enthusiasm for providing high quality support within children and young people’s mental health services.
You will need to provide indirect and direct clinical support to young people accessing CAMHS via the CAMHS Locality Team with guidance from the qualified staff.
You will promote child protection/safeguarding and integrative multi-agency working- ensuring best practice is embedded into the culture and philosophy of the organisation.
CAMHS is a wonderful service in which to work which is highly rewarding, and is seeing further transformations and expansions across the Service Line which all attribute to an ever improving service offer for the Children and Young People of Cornwall.
We would welcome applications from a diversity of backgrounds and experience.
To achieve our Trust objectives, we prioritise the development of our staff. To support this, the following opportunities are available:
Protected CPD time for registered staff
Access to a dedicated central development fund supporting CPD for all staff
Leadership and Management development programmes
