Job Description
Based in Canberra, this versatile role involves working with people who’ve sustained a physical injury and helping them return to their previous daily living activities at work and home.
You’ll work autonomously while having the support of a strong team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Case management
Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
Negotiating positive outcomes for multiple stakeholders
Educating clients and employers about injuries
Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
Functional, worksite and ergonomic assessments
Qualifications
You’ll be a driven and energetic professional with:
Exercise and Sports Science Australia accreditation
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency accreditation
A qualification in exercise physiology or Physiotherapy
Clinical knowledge of pathologies
Strong communication skills
Excellent time management skills
The confidence to use initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes
A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
The ability to grow our services
An ability to build strong relationships with customers
A current driver’s license and car
