Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:
As a SAPUI5 / Fiori designer and developer, you are part of the IBM Ecosystem Lab where you are responsible to combine SAP technologies with IBM, Red Hat and other technologies. You are a hands-on technical resource responsible to design, develop and implement SAPUI5 application in combination with IBM, Red Hat technology or containerized microservices (e.g. with Open Source) and integrated it with SAP software. The main focus is to design and implement state of the art SAPUI5 applications in a cloud based Side-by-Side manner with a SAP Core. The operating of the applications will be from the cloud, on-prem, on the edge and on mobile devices like IOS or android devices. That is why a deep understanding and hands on technological background in SAP UI5 and Fiori with its interfaces and API’s general integration between SAP and other technologies is required. You will be working closely with experts of the Ecosystem Lab in India as well as the IBM SAP CTO and the IBM Innovation Center for SAP Solutions in Walldorf and owning the SAPUI5 part of the projects. You gather customer requirements and then integrate, set up and test the choosen stack in a PoC-type of engagement for focus accounts, including building a prototype / MVP. The new solutions will be featured in the demo environment of the IBM Innovation Center for SAP Solutions in Walldorf or support pilots for client projects.
Your Role and Responsibilities :
Design & develop, test and implement state of the art SAPUI5 / Fiori applications with professional UI/UX in the cloud, on-prem, on mobile devices (Apple / Android) in combination with IBM, Red Hat and other technologies
Provide advanced technical support to IBM Sales and Consulting teams in the SAPUI5 / Fiori applications architectural design, functionalities, operations and life cycle management
Communicate feedback and requirements to IBM development teams, based on lessons learnt from your work
Your role will include documenting the solution design, architecture, and functional and performance capabilities of these IBM SAP solutions that you built and integrate.
Set up customer-ready demo of the new solution to be featured in the IBM Innovation Center for SAP Solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, or related fields at time of application
Understanding of the SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA technology and architecture
4+ years in SAPUI5 / FIORI design, development, implementation and integration with Frontend & Backend (e.g. Fiori Launchpad)
5+ years hands-on experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, ODATA Rest Webservices and Web-APIs as well as HTML5 & CSS3
5+ years SAP ABAP, CDS- and HANA-views developing skills
Know-how about UI/UX design
Know-how about SAP Business Technology Platform.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Master’s degree or PhD in business, computer science, computer engineering, or related fields at time of application
Deep understanding of the SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA technology and architecture
6+ years in SAPUI5 / FIORI design, development, implementation and integration with Frontend & Backend (e.g. Fiori Launchpad)
