We are looking for extraordinary Software Engineers to develop and productize NVIDIA’s DRIVE OS software. As a member of NVIDIA’s Solution Engineering team, you will adapt DRIVE OS solutions to various car platforms equipped with different sensors. This includes but is not limited to architecting, developing and adapting different system components like bootloaders, OS device drivers and frameworks for virtualized environments guided by functional safety architecture ( ISO26262 standard ) to meet different OEM requirements. This role also involves building close technical relationships with our partners during product development and coordinate with the architecture and software teams to develop the best solutions for partners working on our platform. NVIDIA’s deep learning platform has already made a major impact to the field and is broadly used across leading academic institutions, start-ups, and industry, including the world’s largest Internet companies. We need passionate, hard-working and creative people to help us take on more of these challenging opportunities in Autonomous Driving. We are looking for a Senior System Software Engineer with strong experience in security domain, with exposure to virtualization and ARM architecture.
What you will be doing:
Architecture, development and enhancement of security related features on QNX, Linux and bootloaders as part of Drive OS stack.
Lead the architecture discussions for security offering and directly interface with customers to support DRIVE software solutions.
Lead the discussions with customers and support to integrate NVIDIA DRIVE OS components into the customer’s security architecture.
Continuously evolve and support requirements gathering process and traceability flow.
Actively coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet customer’s requirements and to drive complex issues to closure.
Participate in architectural explorations which include feasibility studies, safety evaluations and data analysis.
Hardware configuration and performance tuning
Participate and lead Chip and Board bringup
Interface with ASIC teams
Features and enhancements for customers
What we need to see:
BS/MS or equivalent experience.
8+ years of overall experience and preferably with 2+ years of automotive industry experience.
Experience with ARM-based SoC architectures and TrustZone (e.g. ARM Trusted Firmware – ATF) implementations.
Experience working on Secure boot, hardware-accelerated cryptography, PKCS #11 APIs.
Experience building and implementing secure software. Preferably to standards relevant for automotive security (e.g. ISO-21434).
Experience with security threat modelling
Understanding of QNX/Linux operating system and hands-on experience with device driver development
Strong C programming skills
Strong understanding of ARM processor architecture fundamentals
Strong background in embedded software development and deep knowledge of product development lifecycle.
Exposure to functional safety architecture to meet ISO26262 standard.
Exposure to Hypervisor and device driver development for virtualized environments
Effective written and verbal communication regardless of audience or issue complexity.
