Job Description : WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Senior Video Motion-Grapher in the Global Design Studios team, you will be part of a larger team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and a thought partner for the Consulting Team, leading video motion-graphic projects end to end and ensuring quality in design that meets the business needs. You will partner with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with BCG and Global Design Studios quality standards.
You’ll participate in creative briefs that capture the business challenge, set timelines, ensure that all deadlines are met, communicate with clients, conceptualize, ideate creative solutions, and support all decisions with creative, strategic, and/or business reasoning. You’ll present creative concepts and discuss ideas with internal clients, leveraging visual storytelling through motion graphics, kinetic typography, and strong animation videos skills. You will apply creative layout solutions by creating unique motion graphics templates, corporate videos, training videos, and promos for campaigns and proposals.
As a Senior Video Motion-Grapher, you will be seen as a leader in your field and will be a mentor for more junior Video Motion-Graphers in the team, providing guidance and offering robust solutions, training, and support throughout their career development. You will oversee other team members’ work, provide support as needed, and onboard and mentor new Video Motion-Grapher hires. You will collaborate with the team to create 2D/3D motion graphics, animations, and full-scale production of content-driven animation for the client. You will create project timelines together with the Lead and PM, coordinate with external motion designers, and keep project costs within the budget together with the PM.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
You have strong knowledge and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, 3DS max and Cinema4D.
You should be a storyteller, with great communication skills.
You should have good design sense and hands on experience in designing.
You’re an expert in post-production workflows, tools, and methodologies.
You’re proficient in 2D and 3D layering and node-based software and extensive knowledge in render engines and plugins.
You’re skilled at creating new motion graphics templates and working with stock templates.
You’ve reached an expert skill level in design and illustration, motion graphics, animation, and packaging.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
You have a bachelor’s or similar degree in film or video production or animation (design school preferred).
You have at least 4 – 6 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, design start-up, or design agency.
You have excellent English language skills; other languages may be requested in certain locations.
