Job Description : Prepaid Management Services is the division of mastercard that concentrates on Prepaid Solutions such as our Multi-Currency Cash Passport product. Traditionally focused on the Travel sector this business unit is driving forward Prepaid throughout the world with innovative and leading solutions that we integrate with Global brands. This role is within the Global Technology Services (GTS) team which is part of the wider mastercard Operations & Technologies group. We provide high quality evolutionary and operational capabilities to support the mastercard Prepaid Management Services business.

The Agile Team is a dedicated collection of self-organizing, interdependent, co-located individuals representing different functional roles with all the necessary skills to turn Product Backlog items into a potentially shippable increment within the Sprint.
A hands-on software Engineer is a role within multi-disciplined, agile teams. Responsible for producing high-quality, appropriate web based solutions for both internal and external customers in Prepaid Management Services.
The Agile Team ensures all development work adheres to design and development standards, guidelines and roadmap defined by the Prepaid Management Services Leadership and Architecture teams.

Role

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain test harnesses and test automation packs.
Work alongside developers in systems design, code review and code development in order to create and modify the automation test packs during systems development.
Take a participatory role in the project ceremonies, e.g. sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demonstrations and retrospectives.
Creation and maintenance of test data, management of test logs and test transactions.
Defect management in ALM.
Produce high-level and detailed feature estimations.
Adheres to the delivery process and suggests improvements where appropriate.
Ensures individual and team tasks are performed on-time by communicating and working closely with other members of the team.
Retains a focus on completion, identifying and resolving issues.

All About You

Key Skills and Experience Required

Experienced in Scala and Hadoop ecosystem and its components
Exposure to working with databases (PL/SQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL, Cloudera, Cassandra, MongoDB, Hive, Sqoop, etc…
Know-how on the java essentials for Hadoop.
••Experience with test-driven development practices and technologies, e.g. JUnit, Maven, etc.

Experience with version control systems (GIT), and CI tools (Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar)
Proficient in automation test tools including Selenium.
Experience in working on big data testing, integration testing, test automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of Agile Development lifecycle.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Desirable

Performance testing experience.
Security testing.
Working knowledge of a CI system, ideally Jenkins
Code packaging and deployment automationided
