The tax team is a new team which is expanding rapidly in response to the demands of a fast-growing business and an increasingly challenging control and governance environment. The team sits alongside the financial reporting team and other areas of business operations. The tax team are ultimately responsible for the accurate and timely submission of tax returns and forms.

Be part of a team that enables business growth

The successful candidate will work alongside the Tax Manager and International & Tax Accountant, supporting with the preparation of direct and indirect tax returns, alongside advising sales teams on ad hoc queries,and assisting with overseas tax filings.
As Tax Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

Preparing and collating information to include in direct and indirect tax returns (UK and overseas)
Develop the relationship with external advisors and provide information to prepare returns in a timely manner
Supporting the sales force with queries
Apply for Certificates of Residency and consider withholding tax implications of trading overseas
Assisting with the UK tax accounting and reporting requirements

What we need from you

Ideally an accounting or tax qualification (ACCA/ATT/equivalent)
Experience of working in either in house or UK top tier practice
Excellent written, verbal, communication and thought skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and develop knowledge as part of role
A confident individual with the motivation to manage their own workload
